Want Publicity? Don't be Afraid to Brag!

In today's world look at who gets the publicity. It is usually the loudest and brashest person in the crowd. You don't have to be loud or brash. You just have to share who you are and what you do and convince people there is a value in doing business with you. In order to get noticed you have to stand out with something that sets you apart from everyone else. To get started on becoming a confident bragger here are some tips:

1: Make a list of all the special qualities you have and any special certifications you have earned

2: Analyze to see which of these skills would be of interest and value to people

3: Begin to send out publicity information about who you are and what you do to the media.

Don't be afraid to brag. Pick up the phone and call someone if you had a big accomplishment. Post the accomplishment on your facebook page (if you don't have one, get one). Remember that it is not bragging if you did something that served other people as a result. The key is to share who you are and what you do with people so you can expand your credibility and circle of referrals. Think of all you have accomplished and how it can be used to enhance your personal and professional life. The time to brag is now -- so this week send out a few emails to people telling them of all the positive things you are doing and how it is helping your business
